Help needed 05 connect keeps cutting out

Hello guys
I'm in a bit of a dilemma my connect has just become hard to start when cold and cuts out under load when on motorway I've just had service with genuine ford parts to see if it was just the fuel filter. It's still cutting out the codes that where read are P0251 P1211 P2291.
Is there any one in the Essex area that can help as I don't trust the garage I took it to.

What engine do you have TDCI or TDDI ?

DTC codes

P0251 INJECTION PUMP FUEL METERING CONTROL MALFUNCTION
P1211 INJECTOR CONTROL PRESSURE HIGHER / LOWER THAN DESIRED - Engine running
P2291 INJECTOR CONTROL PRESSURE TOO LOW - Engine cranking

Was fuel system primed after diesel filter was replaced ?
If your engine is a TDCI, I would suggest doing a leak back test on injectors

Common faults for this are :
Camshaft sensor
Injectors
Fuel pump

Do you have any smoke when starting from cold and/or lumpy running until warm?

I have changed the camshaft sensor today it didn't seem to make a difference still cutting out when under load. After turning over from cold the glow light flashing then turn off start cranking again it will fire up then blackish smoke comes out I think it un burnt fuel and yes it runs lumpy until it has got warm not sure what engine it is the injector pipes go to a round spider looking thing at the front off the engine.
I don't know how to do a leak back test. Yes the garage did the service so I'm sure it was full of fuel. It runs sweet when warmed up. I live in Essex any one that can help or dose any one know where I can take it with out getting shafted ?

Black smoke could be the crap out of your cat. After starting from cold is there white smoke and running lumpy until it gets warm?

I don't think its white just black

Mine did this,on a motorway or normal road,any slight hill or under load got flashing dash light then cut out.Had a new injector as the crap injector was dumping fuel back in the pump which couldn't cope with it.
once it cut out i used to restart it then it would be fine until the next time.so i'd guess injectors mate

Had them tested by a local diesel specialist,at the time that i had the problem i only had 1 good injector,1 so so and 2 knackered ones,i only had 1 done due to cost so now i run on 2 good ones and 1 so so and 1 not good:wink: been done about 4 months and still ok.

Well just a quick update I've had the injectors leak back tested and all four are leaking back too much the guy said he had found some metal swarf in the new fuel filter which I've done about 300 miles sins it was changed but he did say that the pump is producing good pressure so looks like its 4 replacement injectors
