what screws do i need to screw plylining straight into the metal frame on the van?

Any half decent twin thread pozi head wood screw will do, as long as you have a decent cordless

Google "wafer head self drilling screw", these are what should be used. Any decent drill will drive them in.

cheers guys, cut the floor shape out and dumped it in the van for now but will screw it down when i get chance!

Bond the floor down with a few tubes of clear silicone

Screws may be added after if needed.

I wouldn't bond it down it'll be a real bugger to get out when you need to weld it up later

, at least with screws you can undo things to get the ply out in one piece.

for the sides use large headed rivets for a nice tight fit ive fitted bed frames to the side with rivets and had 2 adults in bed held up by 24 rivets
