I believe that may be due to the fact that it was a trial.

Well I for one would donate money and I know alot of others that would! I would even donate enough so we could move to a new sever so the site wont be so slow.

Geoff i keep telling you this but you dont understand - its not just the people on here (forum members) that will be buying there vans - as we are a high ranking google site people searching will come across our site first as we will naturally be higher up on the list of returned searches, they will then be passed onto the transitsdirect site and view and purchase there nearly new van, they probly wont even regester on the forum at all or even be bothered about it, they just use it as a way of searching for a van :!:

its quite easy to push a site up in the search results, but it does cost money,i used to own one of the top uk bodybuilding site and we had both a donate button and vip members who paid for top membership, these both worked well and more than covered the costs of the site

Luke's right, it's called marketing. we will never know how many vans are sold by being in touch with this forum, by that I mean as Luke said seeing this forum on Google and from that link getting to a dealer's site. For the record I would make a donation for the running of the forum.

It's not a cost to push the site up the search as we are already there, it's the running costs of the server.

Luke and Will are using a UK based VPS, but I wouldn't use a foreign server as most the traffic is UK and that will just result in slowness again. You've just got to look at PassionFord for that!
