Hi Gemini & co. Well i won the transit i said i was going to bid on.
The engine is very good and i am glad i looked through the engines review section as i am aware the bannana style engine is better than the di.
The van runs well and starts straight away. Minus parts are: Rust spots and patches all over but nothing crazy on the bodywork. Inside the box under the wooden floor there is some large rust patches. At one point there is a hole! (Didnt see untill today when cleaning)
Other than that i have to push the brake pedal down quite a bit to stop. The handbrake is good so i am guessing front pads need doing..
I have no idea on the cam belt so will need to do that. Van was obviously used as a builders van so has required an extensive clean but i am hoping i have not made a mistake.
Do i need to put the pics on webserver to show you guys or can i upload to this site?
Anyway if anyone is reading would appreciate a response & im looking forward to interacting with you guys a bit more. Thanks so much for your help so far i really appreciate your tips.[/img]
