
The intention to use it for lugging stuff around for my startup business in Vintage and Mantiques , but also to convert it to a family bus so we can take the Bikes out easily and go rough camping.....,
The first issue I notices was a dreadful transmission whine, I put this down to the gearbox and being a 5Sp was going to be a pain..
And she stoped accelerating at 62MPH...
I then noticed she cut out a lot a junctions.
And that the cental locking would not work after a few days.
And that at 62MPH it was revving a bit high....
All in all not great.
First thing I did was buy a full set of LDV Convoy Minibus seats, and then sold off the unwanted ones to make a tidy proffit

After reading about SCV issues I ordered a forscan cable and did a little digging, and then took the plunge and orderd a new valve.... That sorted the Cut Out

The locking was down to failing batteries, A week or two passed and I ordered two new batteries , I never got round to fitting them as the lokcing issue were not too much of a pain.
She faile the MOT ona spring, but other than that was pronounced in very good condition....
I then ordered a leather wheel as I hate the feel of the original vinly ones.... That also sat on the shelf..
A week or two later I removed the bulkhead, at which made the WHINE move from up front to right out back..... So I searched for a 3.73 rear axle, found that and had it fitted.. Better Crusing and much quieter..
Then I found a glazed rear and side doors... The side door was fitted last week along with a grab handle.
And today!! I fitted those batteries finally and the wheel..
The wheel was a real struggle, I could not work out the retaining springs. In the end I just cut holes in the old wheel to reach the springs. and eventually got the airbag off.
All that is essentially left to do now is fit the glazed rear doors and finally the first thing I bought, the pair of rear seats for the back!!
