Bought the other week, he is gonna take the 3.0 v6 out, put a di in and covert it to a camper ready for Euro 2008 8) 8)

Interesting as the lights and sirens havent been de-commisioned :shock:

Ideal i'd leave it as it is hire some uniforms from a fancy dress shop then you'll be able to get pitchside for nowt :lol: until someone needs you :( :wink:then you gonna have to try and find the nearest hospital Quickley :wink: :lol: :lol:

He wont tell me, its one of those " I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine " deals :wink: . More than likely took it as payment for some timber but i'm not sure 8)

what you need its the engine mounts - fly wheel/clutch, startermotor and adapterplate :D

will make a great camper pity it wasnt allready a TDi one :lol:

The mk5 ambulances round our way are the TDI lumps. £3k for them though. I think you have to take off the word ambulance and disconnect the lights/sirens for road use. So you simply wire a switch to them in the back. You can't be moving then if the switch to turn them on is in the back ;)

Ambulances make ideal camper conversions as they have the height and insulated walls already.
