What voltage at high pressure pump connectors?

Hi Gents,
I wondered if anyone could tell me what voltage I should have at the pins of the connectors on my high pressure fuel pump?
( 2011 Transit Connect 1.8tdci )

There are two connectors, one on the pressure regulator, and one on the fuel metering valve.

I ask because I wanted to bench test my pressure regulator. On Youtube they show two tests to carry out, a resistance test across the pins, and then a voltage test in which you should see the solenoid activate. On the solenoid activation test they were hooking up the pressure regulator to the positive and negative of a 12v battery, which makes sense. But when I tested the voltage at the pins of my 2 pin connector, I didn't have 12v and ground, I had 12v and 5v.
I tried hooking the regulator up to a battery but I couldn't get anything to activate/fire.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, just thought I would ask in case someone knows!

I'm sure it will be in the BEMM ..Body and Equipment Mounting Manual, all the test stuff ,,voltages and procedures are in it ... this a supplement to the main manual that you should read first

if you want to look, try covering areas that i haven't

like the 1.8 tdci Focus BEMM manual

also try = GALAXY, MONDEO, C-MAX, S-MAX, 1.8 TDCi of the same period in time

Thanks Mark, I'll do some digging. I wish one of my mates had a Connect so I could pull off a couple of plugs then test and compare!
I think ( and I stress think ) that both of the two pin connections on the pump should maybe have a 12v pin and a 5v reference pin.
I have this when I test the pins with the ignition on, but interestingly when I check them with ignition off one of the pins gives a ground signal, which tells me I might have a short somewhere.
Oh well, I'll figure it out eventually I guess.
