I know what I need, its just a matter of getting it. I've been needing a spark plug spanner for the red vespa for 2 years now but whenever I see them forsale at parts fairs etc, I get confused and don't know which one to get. I know I need a 14mm, they all do the size, its the handles and stuff. I can't decide. terrable.

Ok well nothing major, just added some red LED lights inside the lightbar, to act as marker lights. 6 LED's per unit, 2units per side, 4 units in total. Wired into sidelights

Pics are pretty shite as it's just my phone in night mode :x

have you modified your lightbar in anyway or do 4 rotar ones work like that? i mean with the option of 2 or 4 lights working?
I don't switch my lights on... I turn the dark OFF!

Aye well it comes with 3 wires coming out - 1 neg and 2 pos
I was still using the single switch from my old 2xrotator so when fitting it ages ago I just joined the 2 positives together so it was all or nothing.
But with putting in the new switches I decided to wire them up seperate so I had the choice.

AFAIK all the Britax 4x roatators come like this. Not sure about other makes but if they didn't then it'd be dead easy to open them up and wire them up seperatly

Check your charge rate, LEDS get hot if voltage is too high, may pay to install a resistor to slightly drop the voltage

Bought some red reflective tape for her off ebay, 10m, £1 per metre.

Gotta say I'm a bit disapointed in it, not very reflective. This pic makes it look better than it actually is

Oh btw incase anyone missed it this is the switch pnael I made up, in place of the ashtray
Image

.....and just finished fitting a 2nd batt:

Seat off
Image

New batt in and hooked up - the inverter is now wired in via this
Image

Temp cardboard cover until I can find a decent bit of plastic or simillar in a skip
Image

Battery isolater switch. Turn this off and you can use as much power as you want from the 2nd batt and you still have the first battery full of juice to start the engine. Then once the engine's running again turn it back on and the 2nd batt will charge
Image

60w tube heater fitted in the back, should keep the chill off overnight 8)
