my new van!

Postby essex iain » Sun Nov 04, 2007 5:29 pm

ive finally found a decent van within my budget thats not rusty as hell and here it is:

it needs the beacons wiring in, and i want a steel bulkhead to fit to it, but ive got a towball ready to fit on the bar and a kenwood cd player ready to go in the dash. its had a seat fitted from a later van so it has the arm rests. best of all its only done 132k, and feels fine to drive. heres the rest of the vehicles on my drive, inc the works van.

then my other car is the yellow one in the foreground

unfortunately it dosent work at the mo on account of no gearbox as it was seized in 3rd, but i have plans involving a v6 engine for it!

That does look a nice van. Need new indicators though as them ones are cloudy.

Its customary though to remove number plates before showing photos of vehicles online. A quick blow over in Photoshop does the trick ;)

the transi comes in handy for scrap etc, but im doing my house up and i tow cars around so thats the real reason. over the years the gas board have given me a few vans; ive had two kangoos, a vivaro, then a combo, and finally the connect cos i complained about back problems from the combo so they had to change it! the connect is actually the nicest van ive driven for work, but i still prefer the tranny!
