They look a whole lot better now thanks Andy, I was getting a bit bored of all that rubbing down of the bumper, but I must get back on to it today. :|

Had to get back on with the bumper and spoiler today, its one thing rubbing down small parts, but when you have got a thumping great lump of plastic in the shed, things can get bit awkward... I’ve spent most of the time filling in scrapes from years on the road and the thought of buying a new one did cross my mind, being reasonable cheap. Only to go and knock chunks out of it myself trying to move it around... One time I left to dry, only to find later, it had fallen off the stand and landed face down on the concrete
Half the problem was the primer, it’s too thin from spray cans, everytime you block it down, you rub through it, back to the plastic.
Well, after all the little setbacks, I’m nearly there, a few knocks on the ends to sort out and a light flat down with 800grit and its ready for paint... Once this is done, I’m not sure I'll ever want to do another :( Anyhow here’s a couple of pictures, note there is a gap between the two parts, I spaced them off each other to make the 2 parts rigid while working on them, plus it will allow paint between parts, so when they are bolted together, I’ve got a nice clean line.

Great work Alan, can you post me the link for the led fog light. Did the clear lenses come easily off the reflectors? Had my Van Mot'd on friday, it failed thursday on the white reflectors but I taped them with the red tape I had already and he gave me it but in all fairness had the right to fail it. So putting the originals on is the easy way. I like your yellow calipers and giving me ideas for my mk5

Hi Sportscott
Good see your still around, they seperated quite easy, gradually warmed them until submerged in hot water for 5 - 10 minutes. There is a drop of super glue on the 4 tabs the poke through the back section under the foam seal, which just chipped off and I used a small screwdriver to lever the lenes off. Its just hot glue holdng them on... the red bits are held on with hot glue too.
These are the best fog light bulbs I could find, 36 led's

Thanks for the link, I've been meaning to get some fog lamp bulps since I've had the lights. Eventually got some silver coated ones for my front indicators and got rid of the fried egg look, which now comes standard with a new T5
Hate to admit it but I've started pimping my ride
