hi luke yes m12 bolts :)
bushes are sierra/granada track control arm inner bushes
basically we used 2 pairs of tca,s and chopped of the ends and welded to square tube with adjustment on one end consisting of old pair of splinter drag links of old rack and old pair of trackrod ends all raided from scrap bin at work
axle brackets came off one of my spare atlases for my scort

forgive my ignorance on mechanical issue....but what do those bars actually do??

I guess its something to do with controlling bouncing under hard acceleration, I guess its obvious really :)

they stop the axle twisting on the springs
as the van trys to pull away it winds the spings into an 's' then releases.
as the spring releases the wheel bounces
these bar try and control this

hope that helps

I looked at this because I thought it was going to be to stop 'em getting under the van to kip - tramps or gentlemen of the road as we call 'em! All the crackhead beggars in York seem to have homes to go to! So I thought it would also stop the cat burglar although he's moved on to grate covers, took 20 in one night obviously couldn't wait for everyone to get a new cat fitted :?:

right started making some of these :D i'm doing 2 pairs one for mine and one for Tonys mk5, i'd do some for the mk6 cossy but basically it doesnt need any :)

Ive decided to bracket mine off the bottom of the axle, basically as there will be more leverage on the axle so it should work better - the down side of this way is it cuts down on ground clearance so if your van does any sort of work on rough ground then they would be better off on the top :D mine doesn't so i'm ok
I'm aiming to have 150mm+ clearance so it should be ok on speed ramps etc. my van is pritty low anyway and the side pipes are only 150mm from the ground and the front spoilers not much higher so providing i look after them i should be ok

i'll take some pics and post them later :D

here's the 1st photo :D

Image

these are the brackets that are welded to the axle - they measure 100mm down the top edge is 70mm and the bottom edge is 40mm, they will be welded together to give them a bit more strength, and the hole is 12mm :D

more photos as i continue
