I need light

Postby chrisuk » Tue Feb 14, 2006 9:12 pm

.....and God said, let there be light and there was light, Ford said let there be light and there wasnt light..

Ok, I'll stop rambling, My interior lights dont work, tested connectors and nothing, door switches work 'cos the buzzer for the headlight comes on if you open the door, I had a brief look inot the relays and I did notice 2 open places on the bottom, is there a really or not, if not what is the common problem with this fault apart from blown bulbs/fuses, I need light for my long trip.

Cheers

Still have no interior light up front, load area is sorted as I've installed spot lights, after arriving here I went into it a bit more and discovered no relay and I think he fuse was removed to, just need to find out what type of relay it uses so I can have light

I wouldn't have thought the interior light has a relay.

Not sure, according to the CD version of workshop manual in the wiring section it shows one, I'll get a fuse or two 1st to see, its very possible the fuse was removed due to the light being left on and running the battery flat
