help!!!

i have been offered a pinto powered auto h-reg transit for a good price , but what i need to know is will the gearbox and associated parts ,ie torque converter,bellhousing, and propshaft ect.fit to my 2.4 diesel engine in my camper. its a mk2 1979 campervan , help needed urgently as im viewing the mk3 tommorow , has annybody done this conversion and what was nvolved, rabbit has converted from pinto auto to pinto manual but this doesnt answer my question, hlp would be greatly appreciated, tony

yes , as its a left hooker its hard enough work and i have a bad leg . so its a pain to pump in traffic!!

i considered it but my last transit was pinto powered and it was dog slow and i reckon it would struggle with the weight of the camper!!

Hear what your saying,weight always hurts. Diesel and old (per 2000)isn't going to be good news in 2010,unless it's tax exempt.
I'm in the same boat as you,ran di Transit's for years and now there telling me there the devil
