Right as for side vision on the rear lights,I've been on to VOSA and an SVA tester at chelmsford. The brake light must been visible from directly behind and an angle of 45' so basicly visable from the next lane either side. The indicator must be visible from 80' from the rear which means if the van is in lane 3 the following cars in lane 1 must be able to see them while there 2 car lengths behind.

I've had a bit of a set back with the mk5 rear lights, in my hast to take the moulds from my finished masters (that took 3 weeks of filling and sanding!!!) I've not put enough release agent on them and smashed both the masters and moulds trying to seperate them, oh B*ll*cks !!!!
So the next lot will be have latex moulds and may or may not be done in epoxy resin instead of fibre glass. Back to the drawing board......... :( :( :( :? :?
