Ohh he might be needing a new front grille
Many transits from mk1/2/3 are getting abused in malta since our goverment decided to make the licence fee more expensive than ever for old veichles such as these. A carefull look through the maltese buy/sell newspapers there are many old veichles for sale, and everyone want to sell pretending the van is new
Like this one they would expect somthing like £1000 :o :o

Actually this guy is one of the most persons who has owned transits and are all mot failiers. They sell CD s on the market and the reason for buying a 100 pound van is as if they are caught selling fakes the police confiscate the van and belongings so they don t bother to reclaim it back, they just go buy an other  . This is there 2nd transit this year.

Just been to Malta and saw a few in this livery:

They seem to have matching buses in every transit from Mk1 onwards.

It would be great to find the depot and try and photograph them all together... :D

Is there an ebay site on Malta? I've searched ebay.com.mt but no luck....

It would be interesting to browse the motors for sale...

try this  http://maltapark.com/

are you still in Malta? those are the standard mini buses, which transport people here, and there are also the white ones (but mk5s 6s and 7s), since we don't have any rails  .

Hi Vannut ,i heard rummors, that the ADT,Autority Department of Transport are going to make a big radical change in Transport. Two years ago over 200 buses, mostly over 50 years old have been scraped as to please the EU regulations to low floor standards. In the next two years All old buses must be scraped or taken off from the roads these also include Taxis and now mini buses which include Mk1s Mk2 and Mk3s Transits :( , no matter the condition. They all must be New or very few years of age to be able to opperate, so If somebody wants or is looking for a Mk1 or Mk2 minibus, there could be a good chance to buy one or let somebody keep an eye open so when the tender comes out. :( :( :( :(

Thought it was fantastic! Went on buses most days, had great weather, apart from one wet afternoon, thought the people were wonderful. The only thing that spoilt it was the fekkin British salestwats trying to sell timeshares!

Had one of the tastiest meals I've ever had too! 'Mango Bango' in Paparazzi restaurant on St Georges in Spinola Bay.

We'll be coming again!

and this was the view from our hotel room!
