Delilah, now blue and white!

Picked this one up tonight, 2 owners 83,000 miles. It has never been welded anywhere! Chassis is near perfect only needing minor attention with a wire brush :) Body work is not so good with repairs needed to both wings and both rear wheelarches. Doorsteps only slightly rusted, leading edge of bonnet also not good. Screen surround, scuttle and dash are rust free :D

Only one pic so far as it was dark, will post some more tomorrow :)

This is no 5, this one is to replace Honey. This is a much better van to start with having no rust underneath and much better body work :D I will sell Honey to finance repairs to this one :D

No, just polished it, we use a resin wax called Auto Glym. Its quite expensive but it really gets dead paint back to life :D Hard work for the arms though

Well, my shoulder and fingers/wrist haven't stopped throbbing yet! lol

Her name is Delilah 8)

The son wasn't impressed at how hard it was to rub the wax off - I told him he should try putting it on - you have to rub about three times harder than when taking off lol

Anyone got a nice high stable step ladder? I couldn't reach the middle of the roof! lol

I want her on the road NOW!!! Drives a lot nicer than Hunny - although the clutch is a b***h!!
