Well here we are in the right place, wrist still smarting I have smilied the N/S to match the O/S, bit of a game making all the MK5 stuff fit the MK3 door but all was fine in the end

Fitted the MK5 locks all round too so I can actually lock it now

Thanks for the encouragement Had a right blitz on the damaged bits today, stripped off bumper and grille and look what I found



Not at all nice Never mind, grinder to the ready (5 and 9 inchers )




Most of damage and rot gone I had to pull the N/S leg forward about 4 inches



Ran this box section right back into original leg to provide some inner strength



New x member from thick wall box.




Boxed in chassis leg around the inner support.




N/S, again strength rather than originality



Started to make mountings for my steel bumper



Got too bloody dark so more tomorrow, there goes my weekend

Here we are again, ears still ringing from the grinder I finished the bumper It is removeable, with a bit of fekin about (although it doesnt look like it) It also isnt as low as it looks

Basic frame as Mutts






Outer skin is folded from sections of 1mm steel, bolted to frame from behind

build him in to a beaver , muttley used to be a beaver when he was owned by a chap i know in yarmouth untill the prop snaped and he look the back off and put it on a ldv

spec on muttley and beavertail on timmy cause he is single cab so shorter ,

or beaver on mutley and spec on jim doesnt mkatter wich way tbh jujst have them both and easy for you
