I don't have it anymore, i jacked the job in so had to give it back, did a ton in it once but daren't go faster as it was trackered but it had more power to do so

I've squeezed 95 mph from a MK7 115bhp Transit trend and it was feeling quite flat out!

However i've also had a spin in a few others. A 2008 "RENTAL" Ford Transit Jumbo T350 (forgot the bhp) got 90 on the speedo which with a boot full of chairs and tables was really good i thought but it took me the best part of 10 miles to get to that pace

The best was (no suprise) a Merc Sprinter 316 CDI LWB and it went like stink, would give boy racers a shock make no mistake!! I had it well into the range of 100 - 105!

Also Vivaros and that bunch plus the VW Crafters also go quick, i must admitt i reckon the Transit is one of the slowest vans

how can you say transits are one of the slowest when just comparing to a 316 that is fast, to a transit that has a 100mph limit and you dont know the power of

bit like just driving a 2.5tdi transporter and saying they are the fastest, even though the 1.9 100ps transporters are quite flat in comparison to other vans of same power...

compare a 125 tdci mk6 swb transit to same age sprinter 313 swb would be a good comparison. the transit is a lot faster. allthough it does have FWD but slightly less power than the rwd 313cdi..

although one of the mk7s is restricted to 62
the other got restricted to 57 for some reason i think the garage got the speed wrong on that one very frustrating

just to add to this........... my mk4 70ps CAV pump'd Di with 185 tyres and a 4.56 diff did 83mph on the sat nav
speedo was showing 90ish mph

my current 54 plate mk6 90ps 350 hr lwb has done 104mph ,totally flat out down hill wind assisted and was passed by my mate in my old 02 plate mk6 90ps hr lwb hr ,gutted

2.0 tddi 2002 plate with sun viser/bullbar /bigger rolling circumference [18's with 45 aspect tyres] = 90mph on gps [and speedo] turns out the larger wheels+tyres has made the speedo bang on

as above but now de-catted /blanked egr /cleaned plenum and inlet ports = 100 mph

so was it worth the effort/grubby hands ? hell yeah

What is the OVERALL height of your 18" wheel/tyres now slugger?
What bhp is your 2.0 tddi?

there only about 10-15mm taller than the stock wheel+ tyre combo [i'll measure accurately later] but its enough to give it bang on speedo readings...... oh and its the 100/280 [100ps]
be warned tho guys......the overal gearing ratio for me with the bigger wheels is great for me [more speed / lower revs when cruising] but the heavyest thing i carry is my gsxr drag bike and 2 passengers!
i think for a work van / van thats loaded-up a lot of the time then the overall gearing may be too tall [less acceleration and most importantly i think it would strugle in top gear for 60-70 mph cruising, not struggle as in cant do it, but in so much as having to change down to 4th and back up to 5th a lot more than youde want to.......so with this in mind dont even attempt a larger wheel circumference unless you have at least a 100 ps motor [or remapped equivalent] OR unless you do lots of driving WITHOUT too much on board
