Mini in Transit - this is a bit of fun

hello, the other day my dad went to pick up a mini shell so needed to hire a van, ofcourse there was no doubt what make van it was going to be - transit obvously but there wernt any bever tails available at the time so we came up with the novelty idea of just hiring a normal van and puting the mini in it (measuring it first ) and it worked!!
- so just remember you dont necaserily need a bavertail to transport a car, but it helps


the van in question - was very nice to drive and very responcive, i can see why you would buy one

people do restorations in different ways - my dad likes to do it (or get it done) the correct way so it looks nice like welding for instance , but yes there is a bit of work to be done

original mini's are still head turners - im 6 foot 4-5 and i fit in an original mini with plenty of leg and head room?? wierd

i think the mini is a more long term project where as i want to get my transit on the road as soon as possible but will but will update when work starts

This lives in my dehumidified garage we've had it from 3 months old, ex Rover show car. NEVER to be sold (thats the plan) does a handfull of miles a year (last 5 years 740 miles)

nice - i like the way the mini shape diddnt change much during is life, thats until bmw got hold of it...and now they've made a 4 door mini!!! thats so wrong!!!!
