Oh, I'll be bringing the Disco up then as I don't fancy a long slog in the van. Also, not sure how many VOSA traps there are up the A1 and similar roads. So will have another 3 or 4 seats available to share costs.

So cheeeeers! We got there in the end. Things like this take time. Large organisations don't like to help people so if we badger small parts places, etc.... I'm sure we'll get the stuff we need.

Might be worth bombarding a few parts places up Rotherham, etc. Just walk in with the camera on my shoulder and a few guys to ask...... can't really say no then can they?

Every one going on about how far there are from the unit I'm 454 miles away that's 908 miles round trip if i don't get lost great to see there is a unit now

yes sorry about the distance for some - i would have travelled 500 miles no problem - it's only a tank of diesel (or 3 if i'd took the cossy )

but if we didnt get something soon the project was in danger of failing tbh i thought it would have been easier to get something than it was

this place is great for meets and we are going to sort out at least 1 meet before the event (hopefully a few) as it's so close i can bring the donor van down and we can all have a poke round - get more ideas of whats involved and get this V8 started

obviously only the ones with not many miles to travel will attend the pre meets (unless you are really dedicated )

and as mentioned i think we'll need a bit of van sharing - we do have plenty of time to organise it all and it will be in the summer - so no need to double up on the sleeping bags
