i prefer this to the smiley convertion anyday...quick question...what about a mk7 convertion :?: now thats for somone else to think about/do 8)

well done wouldve never thought of this one .certainly have to look twice . exelent work
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!

Put a new flatbed on that & people would think its a MK6 with some sort of private plate on a L fitted :lol:

or you could put a private plant on it and completly hide the identity (but not to us people in the now)

p.s the pic with them side by side - the converted one looks like a scaled down model of the proper one 8)

but i guess my question is, why not just buy a Mk6? or are you one of them who enjoy a challenge.. i used to be, but it was too much effort.
