right first answer is yes you can get cam cover off without removing injectors but you will need to remove fuel pipes and inlet manifold
second its hard to tell which one is knackered unless when you take rocker shafts off one falls to bits or feels soft when pushed and remember if you remove the 10 mm bolts holding the rocker shafts down they must be replaced
thirdly its a tddi the only ci on a mk6 rwd was the 135ps

NOTE: Install new rocker shaft retaining bolts.
NOTE: The oil supply holes in the rocker shafts must point downwards.
Install the rocker shafts.
Tighten the bolts in two stages.
Stage 1: 13 Nm
Stage 2: 45 degrees
this is off ford etis for refiting the rocker shaft bolts, the 45 degrees stretches the bolts slightly so when you remove them they are beyond their tolerence and must be replaced

It will say TDDi on as well if it's a genuine one but only one box will be ticked.

filter should be like this TDCI X
DI \/ this is a tick

TDCI ...is a common rail system with 1 pipe coming from pump into a rail which feeds all the injectors (common) the pump is a pure high pressure pump and dosnt need to be timed up,the injectors are electronic rather than mechanical and are 3 times the price of your injectors.
tdci tend to be more powerful due to better tweaking they are very much quieter, and all mk7s are tdci
mk6 tdci are 2.0 125ps and the 2.4 137ps

Yes, you can typically remove the rocker cover without taking out the injectors, but it might depend on the specific engine layout and how much clearance you have. To test for a faulty hydraulic tappet, listen for a consistent tapping noise that doesn’t go away as the engine warms up, or use a compression test or dial indicator to measure valve lift. While it’s possible to replace just a single faulty tappet, it’s often recommended to replace the entire set, as the others might be similarly worn and could fail soon after, causing additional issues. Be sure to inspect the camshaft and surrounding components for wear as well, as they can contribute to tappet failure.

Thread is 13-1/2 years old...the person you're replying to is long gone and hasn't been back on here for nearly 10 years.

And... no, you can't get the rocker cover off without removing the injectors...injectors are larger than the seal hole.
