Postby Guy88 » Fri Aug 19, 2011 9:36 pm

Another MK5 the rot has killed,

basically my mate got this from a chap we work with, shes rotten, head gasket has gone, runs ok but not brilliant, figured the best thing for her was to completely kill it on the track

Well today she was raced and faired very well,

rear end was too bouncy due to shockes bein knackered, so 4 slots were cut in the floor and the axke was ratchet straped to the bump stops

engine ran perfect, never failed us until the Destruction at the end, lost all power about half way thru and cut out, cambelt cover smashed but not a mark on the belt, turned out a fuel pipe broke off :( :( i dare say if it hadnt we could have one

here she is on the day
