Bas$%rd!!!! Dropped a big bollock. Need to move the wardrobe not only does it get in the way of the heater, it also has another flaw! Anybody spot the problem? give you a clue it involves the side load door and the fact i can get to the handle when its shut because of some knob building a wardrobe in the way!!!!

cant you put some kind of electric solonoid on it instead of having to alter everything
just to unlatch it ( could prob modify a electric boot opening system off somthing)
alternativly ive seen some vans converted to electric opening and sliding on disabled conversions would be a nice touch
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!

could do yeah! Im sure i could alter one off a kia sedona (i work for kia) they have electric sliding sld`s. On the other hand the wardrobes not finished so could make it smaller or move to oposite side, because thinking about it its a bit big and i dont think there will be enuf room to put the babys travel cot up in the space left!! I will sort it. (checked dvla regs and it doesnt ness need a wardrobe as its got 2 cupboard/staoage under bed/seat boxes)

You are right pat it would have been the nuts to have it open electrically from a fob!! NEWS:
Ive just been to york to a beer festival with the missus and was suposed to be going in the van but the logbook hadnt arrived in time, so had to stop in a hotel, all in all it was a good night - upon my return i thought to myself al get on with a few bits on the van - This is when i noticed that the back door was slightly ajar, I thought mybe id left it like that, until i went to grap my cordless drill off the side - mmmm where did i put that??? It was rigt here on top of....my circular saw which as you can guess wasnt there either!!!! SOME THIEVING b*stard had had them away!!! :(

What was strange though - the didnt take the brand new halfords fridge, my snap on screw driver set, other random tools that were about, and they didnt take the sub/amp or the brand new jvc in the glove box!!! Thick Twats!! :?

Anyway rant over!! so seen as i could do anything without my saw and drill i gave her a good clean inside, dash bit s and fasia panels removed and cleaned properly. door panel cleaned ready for trimming. did trim the back door aswell seen as it was open!!
