I have a 2000 mk6 2.0 tddi mapped to 100ps, if I'm careful I'm getting around 36 - 38 mpg.
If I'm heavy footed, 28 - 30 mpg, according to my iPhone app.
Seems to be about right.
In a MK6 280 SWB semi hi!!!!
There you go! At last!

£85 QUID TO FILL TANK ABOUT 61 LITRES. DID 550 MILES. PROB ENOUGH LEFT TO DO 600 BUT DIDNT WANT TO RISK IT. NOT SURE HOW BIG THE TANK IS ON A MK6 T280 85. BUT IT WAS NEARLY EMPTY WHEN I FILLED IT UP. WENT THROUGH A SPEED CHECK DOING 25 IT SAID I WAS DOIN 23 SO LOOKS LIKE 10%ISH FAST. 70MPH @ 2500RPM.
THINK ITS DOIN ABOUT 38/GALL. SO NOT TO BAD.

MK5 99 Hi Cube Baby no 2

When I was dragging a compressor & knackered prop with full weight around other week

Getting an average about 23mpg not bad considering what it was pulling with £20 quids worth of fuel.
(About 1 litre of fuel as far as the government concerned robbing B**tards)

Thats with recon engine and brand new fuel pump (ooh it's shiny  )

Did a MPG calculator to amount of fuel etc approx what van was doing.

Hoping slightly increase now removed dead weight and wasted energy

If gonna have one have a big un
