Theres 2 more of them one towards rear & one at the rear on the drivers side as well , should look pretty original

Yeah it is back a long way but the fabrication is something else , with all the chevy suspension & tubular frames from front to back, i am sure the builder knew what he was doing when he placed it back that far - we will see. If it were manual there would be no space for a clutch pedal. lucky its auto !

its sat back cos of the fan type and water pump the older ones used a short nose pump and no fan with an electric fan behind the grill

All hand made apparently , the man was a boat builder from what i recall... quality stuff, real heavy though probs lighter than steel

Got 2 dash's ( nice to have a choice

) & both bumpers are also fiberglass..

Got my pump priming tool today plus a few tips from the seller, apparently there's a pressure relief valve that sticks...

Got exhaust sections laid out , sort of an 8 piece jigsaw , previous owner said near enough complete & aligned etc.. will try tomorrow to fit & sort oil prob.. got nearly no work on this week :mrgreen:

so should make good progress on it ...

There is a fibreglass / carbon fibre mould maker locally that i know, no idea if he is affordable on one offs but i plan to see him about making headlamp surrounds , i will ask about replicating some of the stuff on it..
