Hi can anyone help pls.
I could not take out my stereo - most prob because I tried ramming in spoons in each of the slots.
I then tried the correct keys.... Only to find out that I have possibly or most definitely messed up the locking mechanism and still can't get the damn thing out to get the serial number for an unlock code.
Came a cross a video on you tube- shows a 6000 cd stereo serial on top and on side. He also manages for the stereo to display the serial number of the stereo on the screen. He holds buttons 1 and 6 together and lets go after 2 secs.
The stereo goes through some settings/demo and serial will be the last to appear.

As has been said at least 2 dozen times, V codes are only available from Ford dealers, Taz may be able to help you if you ask him very nicely by PM
