the van was a 2.5 di ....so should i put a mt75 box in it ??


Yeah, all you need is the pinto-Mt75 adapter plate, gearbox cross-member and the front hal of the prop (cos the Mt75 has a bolt flange and the T9 has a spline).

Type9 and MT75 are rated to about the same output, I wouldn't bother doing anything till it goes wrong.

They might be rated the same but I think we all know which is the stronger box :wink: What I can fathom is why whoever did the conversion wouldnt have kept the MT75 in the first place :? Are you sure its a Type Nine?

You'll probably find he couldn't find a pinto adaptor plate so whet with a box that bolted straight on.
