so no excuse for all those gangsta black bmws with em on then !

they do look tonnes better on black motors especially if its all black n tinted with some chrome trims(like my old beloved E30 316i)

i loved that car my first bmw(thought of many but only had2)

was the first car i ever worked on/fixed/repaired/modded/sweated n bled for cried over etc.

was slammed to 40mm off floor -was a problem when i went to essex as speed bumps everywhere and lanes where all debris was simply tarmacked over giving raised areas that skimmed sump bit at a time.

i really loved it was great on fuel n proper fast as racing cams in it! 8)

now i drive transits but love my van as much as i loved eva, my first beemer!

i hope to have franny at least twice as long as eva (bmw for 5 yrs) if not forever!
even if i have to stockpile panels

d1d a bit more the other day - i needed a inteior mirror but the latest one i watched on ebay which was new old stock went fo £80  forget that, so i bought a secont hand one from a mk1 scrapper for £5 or 10 as it was badly pitted

Image
pitted so i sanded it down with a little rotery tool

Image
spreyed it in high etch primer so it was now smooth

Image
and painted it with humbrol metal coat (yes the model paint  ) and it gave a really nice finish :!:

Image
mirror re-assembled - the finish is a matt silver finish but it still looks good and its better than spending £80 8)

the mirror is an original Winguard item :)

its Huttond Hi-Etch Primer

i find it to be the best primer ive used so far but i dont know if huttons us a country wide company or not as the one near me is run out of a very small unit

i guess the primer etches its self to the thing you are spraying and then you can put what ever top coat you want on it,
it will take most paints that ive found
