Well had a bit of a spend up today. Bought some wheels, an ST steering wheel, all the towing eye caps and parking sensor collars, a set of parking sensors, a new side door as mine is damaged, and an electric window/mirror kit including the door cards, switches, looms and mirrors themselves!
I also bought a new weather strip as mine started peeling, and was a bugger to get the sticky stuff off so it was a clean surface to stick on the new one.
Then treated it to a wash. Was going to polish it too but i think ill get it mopped first!

Hi Paul, where did you get these parts from? I like the idea of it being silver as it breaks the dash up a bit. Just been wondering whether it'd look good in mine sprayed white!
Did the stereo come like that? I've had a quick look on fleabay and can only find ones that look like they fit behind the dash[/quote]

Hi the centre fascia was removed from a 2008 (58 plate) mk2 connect & the stereo I purchased from ebay as pictured (its a genuine Ford stereo)

I can give you the Ford Part No for it if requested

Heres a pic of the unit fitted
