I would say second hand you should be looking at about £30 for the complete thing, I can buy the pump new on its own for £58, but I think I have only ever replaced two, and they were both through abuse...as in the filters were never changed!

Yeah Mk3 2.0 16V.

fitted the front central locking today and it works!! was very easy
however when i removed the trim from the footwell passenger side i had a big hole
so out with the welder again :!:
also lifted the carpet from the drivers side to find it wet :?:
so clean all that up and painted it with white hammerite cant see where water would get in

not alot of water so could it have come in off my feet and gone down the split rubber and just sat there as ive only done 700 mile since jan

also won a fuel pump and filter off ebay

been out playing to day
refitted the plenum
fitted the exhaust manifolds
sort the brakes vacuum pipe
fitted the throttle cable
then went to fitted the coil pack and hit a snag

there not enough room cause of the bulk head will have to adjust that later

and thanks to some photos from valsheda i now know that the dohc rad fits the 24v pipe work and it has electric fans :D
on a down side they cost £135 new :(
