You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

That's an interesting coincidence Geoff, now you mention it, I have a Green 69 SWB that I could use for my orange one. Thanks for the tip  WHERE ARE THE PICS OF THE ESCORT???

Back to original topic, she will have to be on the move soon cos where she is may be up for sale, should have put her at madvanman's long ago. We would have been drving about in her by now if we had!!

I know the guy in North London who built the "strech" all those years ago!

It was about 1978 I think....

He also built a Transit trailer!

Havn't kept in touch for years but, I do know where he is/was living...

Next time I'm around Edmonton I'll give him a knock..

His name is Pete aka....Oddball.................

Must find a pic of it....

Had a LT roof and RO80 front...

Looked exactly like a Mk 3.........In 1978!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fred, he lived in Seven Sisters Road just down from the Manor House

Stamford Hill.

Yes,it was by a Bus-stop!!

I know coz I backed into it and flatened it once!

His Transit was a White Mk 1 SWB on a "K"reg.....

before he started the strech!
