Had a collection from a FORD compound today so decided to have a good look at the new custom without a salesman over my shoulder, they look ok apart from the back lights which are huge, but, as soon as you open the drivers door to me it says cheap, I know FORD have got to compete with Peugeot / Citroen a bit better on price but unfortunately it shows, the seat quality is awful compared to MK5 MK6 and MK7 the plastics for the dash are not of the same quality as the FORD cars, and for tall drivers the roof seems quite low.

I had a little look at one at my local ford dealer today looks ok but would still rather have a vw transporter

What the hell is that nasty ugly thing. For one, why does ford insist on smudging headlights up an up like a birds mascarra. for 2 what is going on with the bum looking wheel arches and the way they go into the many parts of the front corner bumper. It looks like a merc on the side but with a massive wedges of panel work and plastic sticking out. and 3 the back and front looks like a mish mash of that crap chassis that renault/nissan/and others took on and can't fit an 8x4 in the back on a SWB because they have such a big f*ing front end. I had a Mk5 and loved it, Got a MK6 now and love it, might get a MK7 if the eu forces me, but I won't be happy. OI! Not my fault I had to give up my MK5, the goverment made me do it to make babys breath better in london etc.
