Front Leaf Spring Bushes.

Postby cartooner » Fri Oct 24, 2008 12:48 pm

Hi,

I need new bushes for my front leaf springs on the Mk1. I already have the 8 rubbers for the rear side, but now I need new ones for the frontside. These are the pressed-in ones with the metal inner. They are 67mm wide, 46mm thick with a 18mm center hole. Motomobil does not deliver these anymore. Can anybody overhere source them for me.
Perhaps an adress in the UK somewhere, please.
Thx.

Still no luck. Nowhere on the internet. Only advice I got sofar is to let someone
fabricate them from solid nylon. So if anybody knows where to buy them, please tell. It's easy to find the rear ones but not the front bushes.. Motomobil has some in stock, but not the ones I need. 67mm wide/ 46mm Diam./ 18mm inside diam.

I think they are the right ones though. The inside diam. is 22,2 mm. But You have to insert the cross tube which is 22,2 outer and 18mm inside diam. So indeed I think these would fit too. They are 113 Aust.Doll. and in cluding tax and shipment that will be quit expensive. About 46 pounds excl. shipment and taxes. But they are
poly bushes. 8)
